Did you know…lionfish spines are purely defensive. They are used to protect the fish from predators rather than kill or stun their prey.

  1. I have lived in the keys for 14yrs now,,,have seen the lack of fish more over the past 5 years than ever before. I believe that the lionfish are the main reason for those loses.
